Obituary for Kelley

Clara"Nell" Kelley, 66, a resident of Albuquerque since 1954, died Tuesday, September 21, 1999. Mrs. Kelley was born July 16, 1933 in Jacksboro, TX to Jack and Ora Mae Waldrop. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Doyle W. Kelley of Albuquerque; daughters, Joyce Ballew and husband, Richard of Farmington and Beverly Kirschman and husband, Elden of Camas, WA; son, Darrell Kelley and wife, Jane of Albuquerque; brother, Arvie D. Waldrop of Wichita Falls, TX; sisters, Linda Barger of Willow Park, TX, Kay Bond of Burleson, TX and Marie Pate of Midland, TX; step-mother, Violet Waldrop of Fort Worth, TX; five grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Mrs. Kelley was preceded in death by her mother, Ora Mae Waldrop; father, Jack Waldrop; and two infant siblings. She was a very active member of the Assembly of God Church. Mrs. Kelley was also a member of R.V. Maps Volunteers and enjoyed camping in her R.V. She was employed by A.P.S. as a school cafeteria manager for many years until her retirement in 1990. Mrs. Kelley thoroughly enjoyed being a homemaker, cooking, sewing and entertaining friends. Services will be held Saturday, 11:00 a.m., at First Family Church, 4701 Wyoming NE, with Rev. Mike Dickenson officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be Elden Kirschman, Rick Ballew, Rick Picarillo, Boyd Major, Tom Kearns, Warren Kelley and Paul Martinez.
