Helen Hammer passed away September 22, 1999. She was born in Buffalo, Wyoming, February 18, 1922 and served in the Navy WAVES from 1943 to 1946. She is survived by her husband, Jack Hammer who she met and married in 1956; daughters, Cindy Kennedy and husband, Kendall, Susie Norlander and husband, Mark, Kate Davis and husband, Dennis; grandchildren, Andrew, Jason, Russ, Jennifer, Whitney, Mandy, Mikal; great-grandchild, Justin; brothers, Teddy and Mary Lou Wilson of Gilette, WY, Buddy Wilson of Longmont, CO; pet companion, Daisy; family and friends who loved and will miss her. A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 24, 1999, 3:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Animal Humane Association or Casa Angelica.
