Alice S. Owen, 90, a resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, August 17, 1999. She was preceded in death by her husband, Capt. Albert Owen, who served as a New Mexico State Police Officer in the 1950s. She is survived by her son, Lt. Col. Claude S. Owen (Ret.) and wife, Elizabeth of Riverside,CA; daughters, Carole A. Martin and husband, Joseph of Albuquerque and Patricia Boring of Agoura Hills, CA; grandchildren, Claudia Owen, Michael Owen, Jeff Owen, Michael J. Cooke, Laura Marie Galindro, Lisa Michelle Ramirez, Sean Boring and Todd boring; and 11 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Owen was active at Central United Methodist Church. She will be loved and missed by all the lives she touched. Private disposition has taken place. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
