Mike F. Guzman Sr., 76, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Monday, August 9, 1999. He is survived by his sons, Michael F. Guzman Jr. of Albuquerque and Thomas A. Guzman and wife, Carol of Littleton, CO; grandson, Eddie Guzman of Albuquerque; granddaughters, Michelle D. Guzman of Albuquerque and Elise M. Guzman of Littleton, CO; great-granddaughter, Natasha Guzman of Albuquerque; brother, Pat Guzman of Baltimore, MD; sisters, Erlinda Asay of Sacramento, CA and Stella Elicio of Albuquerque; and friend, Margaret Davis. Mr. Guzman was preceded in death by his wife, Della B. Guzman in 1990. He was a member of St. Therese Little Flower Church and was a Eucharistic Minister. Mr. Guzman was also a member of the American Legion, and was a member of the Independent Order of Foresters. Rosary will be recited Thursday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Deacon Manuel Montoya reciting. Mass will be celebrated Friday, 10:00 a.m., at St. Therese Little Flower Church, 3400 4th St. NW, with Father John Plans, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Johnny Elicio, Dr. Ernie Villescas, Eddie Guzman, Daniel Sena, Pat Guzman and Joe D. Guzman. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
