Obituary for Bazan

C.M. Bazan, age 92, a beloved husband, father and grandfather, left his family to meet the Lord on August 10, 1999. He was preceded in death by his son, Claude Bazan; two grandsons, James Bazan and Andrew Bazan. He is survived by his loving wife, Merlinda Lucero Bazan of Albuquerque; one son, Alexander Bazan and wife, Mary Ann of Albuquerque; one daughter, Trudy Bazan Parker and husband, Garner of Irving, TX; one daughter-in-law, Sophie Bazan of Albuquerque; four grandchildren, Claude Bazan Jr. of Albuquerque, Maggie Bazan of Denver, CO, Antoinette Bazan of Denver, CO, Matthew Bazan of Denver, CO; and one great-grandchild, Mercedes Gonzales Bazan of Albuquerque. C.M. was an Alumni at the Menaul School, was a Veteran, serving in the United States Army, was a member of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, and a member of the American Legion Post 69. C.M. was a Master Craftsman, building fireplaces as a Masonry Constructor. He will be greatly missed by his loving family. Visitation will be today from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alameda Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited this evening, 7:00 p.m., at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. also at the church with interment to follow at San Carlos Cemetery.
