Obituary for Espinosa

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Wednesday August 11, 1999

Mrs. Victoria A. Espinosa died August 9, 1999 in Albuquerque at the age of 77. It's hard to say goodbye to you--a mama, a grandma, our Gobo. Words are not enough to say how we all feel. You are extremely precious to all of us. You always put anyone and everyone in front of you, without a second thought. You touched each of our lives so uniquely and beautifully. You going home is hard for us, only because we will miss you and we love you so much. Gobo, your humor, your strength, your will to survive, your inner beauty, the fire that you had--lives in all of us. It is hard to say goodbye. We know now that you are in heaven. We know lots of little angels came for you and you are not alone. We know that now you walk and see. We know that your pain is ceased. We will NEVER, NEVER forget you. We love you. Mrs. Espinosa is survived by her husband, Andres M. Espinosa; three daughters, Terry Romero, Pauline Cordova and husband, Abenicio Jr., and Andrea Baca; one sister, Ramona Lucero; eight grandchildren, Daniel and Phillip A.
