Delia M. Clayton, 80, daughter of well known Albuquerque pioneer physician, Edmund Clayton, and Margaret Chavez Clayton, and direct descendant of Francisco Javier Chaves and Manuel Otero, early governors of New Mexico, died at Presbyterian Hospital on August 10, 1999. She is survived by Hazel Sullivan, her longtime companion; nephews, Francilio and Lorenzo Clayton; grandniece, Mary Margaret Seis; grandnephews, Brian Seis and Christian Gonzales; and cousins, Arthur Stanton, Mercedes Garoffolo, Jose Chavez, Consuelo Renfro and Lorenzo Chavez. No services are planned."
