Jeremy Dean Gabbert, born August 31, 1981, passed away August 7, 1999. He is survived by his father, Shane Gabbert and step-mother, Loretta Gabbert of Clovis, NM; mother, Martha Sanchez of San Antonio; sisters, Heather and Susie Gabbert; grandmothers, Judy Duke of Belton, TX and Billie Sanchez of San Antonio; grandfather, Flaviano Sanchez of San Antonio; great-grandparents, Ivan and Carrietta McGown of Belton, TX, Loretta Gabbert of Dallas, TX, Ducinea Sanchez of San Antonio; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. Jeremy graduated from Portales H.S. with academic honors in May, 1999 and was to attend at N.M.S.U. in Las Cruces. He loved music and the great outdoors. His salvation for eternity was secured with Jesus Christ at Central Christian Church in Portales, where he confessed his faith and was baptized. A Rosary will be held Tuesday, August 10, 7:00 p.m., at San Antonio Church (Holy Child Parish). Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 11, 10:00 a.m., at San Antonio Church (Holy Child Parish). Burial will be at the San Antonio Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jody Gabbert, Matt Mashburn, Art Sanchez, Adam Ridenour, Scott Sanchez and John Spraggins. Services provided by French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas NE.
