Juanita Cox, 79, a resident of Albuquerque since 1947 and long time member of Highland Baptist Church passed away on August 7, 1999 at home. Juanita was born on November 2, 1999 in Coschata, Louisiana to Samual and Hazel Norrid. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Cox who passed away in January of this year. Juanita is survived by two sons, Robert D. Cox and wife, Greta of Albuquerque and Glynn L. Cox and wife, Patricia of Hurst, Texas; four grandchildren, Sheryl King and husband, James, David Cox and fiancee Tammi, Richard Cox and wife, Amy, Deann Ragland and husband Bryon. She is also survived by a great-grandchild, Robbie Rangland. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 9, 1999 at Hillcrest Funeral Chapel with Funeral Services at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 10, 1999 at Highland Baptist Church, 417 Palomas Drive SE, 87108. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Baptist Children's Home, c/o Highland Baptist Church at the above address.
