Obituary for Roybal

Michael"Jackson" Roybal, 45, a resident of Albuquerque and formerly of Espanola, passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 1999, from a massive heart attack while building his home in Albuquerque. He is survived by his wife, Veronica Roybal; one son, Simon; three step-children, Patrick, Danielle and Paul, all of Albuquerque. He is also survived by his parents, Theodore and Sally Roybal of San Pedro; three brothers, Carlos Roybal and wife, Judy, Myron Roybal, all of San Pedro and Dominic Roybal and wife, Christen of Albuquerque; three sisters, Louella and husband, Michael Hennelly of Phoenix, AZ, Denise and husband, Steve Montoya of San Pedro and Carmella and husband, Fred Romero of Sombrillo; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jose Andres and Genevieve Sandoval of Las Trampas; several nieces, nephews; aunts, uncles; many cousins; and other relatives and friends. On Friday, August 6, 1999, visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., and a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Block-Salazar Mortuary in Espanola. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 7, 1999, 1:30 p.m., at la Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Canada. Interment will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Carlos, Myron and Dominic Roybal, Fred Romero, Steve Montoya, Michael Hennelly and Anthony Montoya.
