Andrew Porfie Salazar, 45, passed away August 3, 1999. He was preceded in death by his father, Beltran Salazar and brother, Raul Salazar. He is survived by his wife, Elaine and children of the family home; mother, Lola Salazar; brother, Johnny Salazar; sisters, Rosalie Juarez, Martha Burns, Edwina Valdez, Cathy McDonald and numerous other nieces, nephews, family and friends who loved and will miss him. Memorial services will be held at St. Edwins Catholic Church with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 5, 1999, and mass to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 6, 1999, Fr. Jose Hernendez, celebrant. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John W. Mares, Danny Montoya, Lorenzo Otero, Alan Jaramillo, Alan Vik, and Joe Moreno. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Pena, and Joey Garza. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Andrew Salazar Memorial Fund at any First Security Bank.
