Obituary for Gibson

Grace R. Gibson, 86, a former resident of Albuquerque from 1949 to 1979, and a resident of Taos since 1979, died Tuesday, July 13, 1999. She was born January 8, 1913 in Coyville, Kansas. Mrs. Gibson is survived by her daughter, Patricia Randall and husband, John; grandsons, Keith Randall and Boyd Randall and wife, Lisa; great-grandson, Hayden Randall, all of Taos; sisters, Mary Browning of California and Maymie Knapp of Kansas; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 60 years, Paul G. Gibson; and two brothers and one sister. Mrs. Gibson was a member of Ranchos Presbyterian Church, and San Marcial Chapter #34 OES. She had previously served on the Advisory Board of Albuquerque Assembly #20, Order of the Rainbow for Girls and was awarded the Grand Cross of Color degree. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Sunday, 2:30 p.m. at Ranchos Presbyterian Church in Ranchos de Taos.
