Louis V."Lou" Baldwin Jr., 70, an Albuquerque resident since 1978, died Monday, August 2, 1999. He is survived by a son, Gary Baldwin and wife, Renee of Chandler, AZ; daughters, Linda A. McDonald of Phoenix, AZ, Suzie Taylor of Glendale, AZ, Jeanie Melton and husband, Garry of Mesa, AZ, and Debbie Merkel and husband, Dan of Reno, NV; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; brothers, Clarence E. Baldwin and John D. Baldwin and wife, Nancy, all of Phoenix, AZ; sisters, Adeline Edwards of Phoenix, AZ and Marizona Robinson of Brentwood, TN. Mr. Baldwin was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Marzelle Baldwin; a daughter, Pamela Lou Baldwin; sister, Margaret Ferto; and a brother, William R. Baldwin. He was a veteran of WWII, having served in the US Navy. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 4, 1999, at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Pastor James Lloyd officiating. Following services in Albuquerque, interment will take place in Greenwood Memory Lawn in Phoenix, AZ. French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
