Mary Lou McGovern, 42, a five year resident of Edgewood, NM passed away, Friday, July 9, 1999 at her home. She was born March 12, 1957 to Glenn and Ruth Rhoades in Toledo, Ohio. On January 10, 1975 she married Ken McGovern in Temperance, MI. Mrs. McGovern was a member of Saint John XXIII Catholic Community Church in Albuquerque, NM. Mary Lou McGovern will be remembered as a Loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include husband, Ken McGovern of Edgewood, NM; two sons and daughter-in-law, K.C. McGovern III and wife, Angela of Albuquerque, NM and Sean McGovern of Edgewood; one daughter, Christine McGovern of Edgewood; three brothers, Jack, Herb, and Gene Rhoades; two sisters, Carol Bowers, and Kathy Graven; and one granddaughter, Caitlin McGovern. There will be a viewing for Mrs. McGovern, Monday, July 12, 1999 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Saint John XXIII Catholic Community Church, 4831 Tramway Ridge Dr. NE Albuquerque, NM (293-0088). The rosary will be recited Monday, July 12, 1999 7:00 p.m. at Saint John XXIII Catholic Community Church. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, July 13, 1999 11:00 a.m. also at Saint John XXIII, with father Arkad Biczak officiating. Pallbearers will be Fred Kasper, Chuck Georgi, Mark McGovern, Herb Rhoades, Jack Rhoades, and Gene Rhoades. There will be a Reception at the family home, 119 County Rd. A104, Edgewood, NM, following the Mass. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM.
