Erma Carrejo, 73, a resident of Albuquerque since 1966, died Wednesday, July 7, 1999. She is survived by her husband, Jesus J. Carrejo of Albuquerque; daughters, Dorothy De Herrera and husband, Louis of Clayton, NM, Lucy Chavez and husband, Albert, Irene V. Clark, and Nancy Carrejo, all of Albuquerque; grandsons, Anthony J. Clark and wife, Cindy, Little Al Chavez, David Chavez, and Adam Chavez, all of Albuquerque; granddaughters, Kristy De Herrera of Albuquerque, Kathy Maestas and husband, Rick of Clayton and Kari De Herrera of Clayton; great-grandsons, Darren Chavez, Little Dave Chavez, both of Albuquerque, and Bradley Chavez of Mesa, AZ; great-granddaughters, Brittany Chavez of Mesa, AZ, Kendra De Herrera of Clayton, NM, and Clark Twins of Albuquerque; sisters, Flossie Ramirez of Pueblo, CO, Stella Elkins, of Albuquerque, and Luga Montoya of Clayton, NM; brothers, R.D. Montoya and wife, Rose of Albuquerque, Sec. Montoya and wife, Elsie of Santa Fe, NM, Archie Montoya and wife, Erma of Raton, Bennie Montoya of Albuquerque; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Mrs. Carrejo was preceded in death by her parents, Demetrio and Gregorita Montoya; and sister, Annie Gonzales. She was a charter member of Albuquerque Moose Lodge, American Legion, Post 49, VFW Post 401, and a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited Monday, July 12, 1999, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Deacon Byron Wicker, reciting. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, July 13, 1999, 9:00 a.m., at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Rd NE, Rev. William McCarren, Celebrant. Interment will take place 12:00 noon, at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Little Al Chavez, David Chavez, Adam Chavez, Anthony J. Clark, Phillip Elkins, and Michael Elkins. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Saturday, July 10, 1999, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Monday, July 12, 1999, 5:00 p.m. until rosary.
