Lisa R. Harper, born on August 23, 1942 in Meridian, Mississippi to Shemp and Hassie Trussell was called Home on July 6, 1999. Mrs. Harper is survived by her husband, William Harper; nine children, Robby Harper of Kansas City, KS, Lorraine Harper of Denver, CO, Janet Carlisle of Meridian, MS, James Carlisle, Sarah Williams and husband, Robert of Meridian, MS, Eugene Carlisle and wife, Geraldine, Darren Carlisle, Timothy Harper and Christopher Harper; two brothers, C.W. Trussell and Leonard Trussell; four sisters, Clara May Paton, Peggy Walker, Molly and Pearl Avery. She is also survived by 35 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Visitation and wake will be Friday, July 9, 1999, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Hillcrest Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 10, 1999, 11:00 a.m., at Fellowship Baptist Church, 515 Ash SE, with Pastor Dennis Dunn officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
