Mr. Charlie H. Padilla, age 78, died Sunday. He was a World War II veteran and was preceded in death by his parents, Enriquez and Teresita Padilla. He is survived by a son, Charlie H. Padilla and wife, Colleen of Lenexa, KS; a brother, Fred Padilla of Albuquerque; and a grandchild, Angela Padilla of Lenexa, KS. Funeral services for Mr. Padilla will be held Wednesday from the Ascencion Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at the Pajarito Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., in the mortuary chapel. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the Salazar and Sons Mortuary, 400 3rd St. SW.
