Obituary for Castle

Alba Lynn Castle, a former resident of Gallup, died in Albuquerque on Monday, June 28, 1999. She was born in Gallup on May 13, 1963 and she attended the McKinley County Public School System and graduated from Gallup High School in 1981. She attended the College of Santa Fe. She is survived by her daughter, Cheney Perry-Hill; parents, Albert Jr. and Sarah Castle, all of Albuquerque; brothers, Marlon C. Castle of Santa Fe and Gerald A. Castle and wife, Bonnie of Norfolk, VA; maternal grandmother, Flora B. Nix of Cathedral City, CA; paternal grandparents, Albert and Carrie Castle of Gallup; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Prior to her illness, she was employed by Sprint PCS as a staff trainer, a caretaker for Marie Amadea Shelter, and worked for Checker Shuttle Services as a dispatcher. Services will be held Thursday, July 1, 1999, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas NE, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
