Santa Cruz Jojola, 85, passed away Friday, June 25, 1999 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Albuquerque, NM. He was born April 14, 1914 to Daniel and Raquel (Atencio) Jojola in San Marcial, NM. He is preceded in death by his wife, Anna T. (Ramirez) Jojola in 1983. He is survived by his sons, Daniel and wife, Eva of Albuquerque, NM and Henry and wife, Julia of Albuquerque; daughters, Mary Ann Ornelas and husband, Cruz of Albuquerque, and Stella Gutierrez and husband, Jose Heridia of Albuquerque; sisters, Ramona Padilla of Alamogordo, NM, Grace Vallejos and husband, Manuel of Sierra Vista, AZ and Rosela Lukesh of Albuquerque; 16 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. Rosary will be recited Monday, June 28, 1999 at 7:00 p.m. at the San Miguel Catholic Church in Socorro. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, June 29, at 10:00 a.m. at San Miguel with Father Bill Sanchez as Celebrant. Interment will be in the San Miguel Cemetery. Pallbearers are, Dale Jojola, Vincent Gutierrez, John Jojola, Mike Ornelas, Connie Tachias, Manuel Jojola and Evadel Garcia. Honorary pallbearers are, Julian Jojola, Carlos Alirez, Christopher Ornelas, Jonas Tachias and Danny Jojola. Arrangements by Steadman-Hall Funeral Home, Socorro, New Mexico.
