Raul"R.H." Lovato, 62, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, was called home to be with the Lord, Thursday, June 24, 1999. He was a parishioner of St. Therese Catholic Church; he retired from the Albuquerque Fire Department. R.H. is survived by his loving wife, Irene Lovato of the family home; two daughters, Elizabeth Kahre and husband, Darrell of Las Vegas, NV, Jessica Torres and husband, Ely of Albuquerque; one son, Jude Lovato, also of Albuquerque; five grandchildren, Eric, Andrea, Jesse, Samantha and Dominic Ely. Also surviving are two brothers, Tony Lovato and wife, Marilyn, T.B. Lovato; step-mother, Mary Lovato; and several step-brothers and sisters. He will be greatly missed by his loving family. A Rosary will be recited this evening, 7:00 p.m., at St. Therese Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning, 9:00 a.m., also at the church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Richard Sanchez, Tom Lopez, Gary Holguin, Elesio Pino, Hank Delgado, and T.J. Davis. Honorary bearers will be Darrell Kahre, Ely Torres, Eric, Andrea, Jesse, Samantha and Dominic Ely. Funeral services are in the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave. SW, 243-5222.
