Josephine F. Taday, 85, a resident of Albuquerque for 44 years, died Sunday, June 20, 1999. She is survived by her sons, Stephen T. Taday Jr. and wife, Theresa of Corrales and Alan M. Taday of Albuquerque; daughter, Jacqueline DeForest and husband, Jerry of Scottsdale, AZ; grandsons, Michael Taday and wife, Dacia of Albuquerque and Randall DeForest and wife, Luanne of Phoenix, AZ; granddaughter, Nancy Paul of Albuquerque; great-granddaughter, Marisa DeForest of Phoenix, AZ; sister, Mildred Bauer and husband, Leonard of Ocala, FL; and niece, Frances Eden and husband, John of Solon, OH. Mrs. Taday was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Stephen T. Taday Sr. She was born on April 30, 1914 in Cleveland, OH. Mrs. Taday was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated Thursday, 9:00 a.m., at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 1800 Martha NE, with Rev. Domingo Gumpal, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be Randy DeForest, Michael Taday, Alan Taday, Stephen Taday, Jerry DeForest, Vern Anderson, Rod O'Neill and John Moody. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
