Obituary for Sanchez

Fred J. Sanchez, 82, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Monday, June 21, 1999. He is survived by his daughter, Clorinda C."Corky" Sarro and husband, Frank of Laurinburg, NC; and son, Orlando Sanchez of Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn G. Sanchez in 1998. Rosary will be recited Thursday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Deacon Manuel Montoya reciting. Mass will be Friday, 11:30 a.m., at St. Therese Little Flower Church, 4th and Mildred NW, with Father Lazaro Cuesta, S.F. Celebrant. He was a Army Veteran of WWII and a member of the Catholic Church. Fred worked for Chrysler Motor Co. He was owner and manager of F. Jay Auto Sales. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be David Chavez, Rick Sanchez, Herman Sanchez, Tim Medina, Carl Writzel and Steven M. Gabaldon. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Thursday, 5:00 p.m. until Rosary.
