Vincent G. Nelson, 85, a resident of Albuquerque since the 1950's, died Tuesday, June 22, 1999. He is survived by his sister, Miriam Peck of Florida; daughter-in-law, Alexandia Nelson of Albuquerque; and grandsons, Evan, Jeffrey and Mitchell. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marian Nelson in 1990; and son, Andrew Nelson in 1993. He was born in Chicago on October 20, 1913 of parents, Dr. and Mrs. Gotifred Nelson. Mr. Nelson graduated from Illinois Institute of Technology and retired from Sandia Nationals Labs in 1974. Graveside services will be held Thursday, 10:00 a.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, with Pastor Carol Jeanette officiating. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
