Yolanda Turrieta Lang. The dancer took her final bow on Wednesday, June 16, 1999 after a short ravaging bout with cancer and its treatments. Surviving is Yolanda's husband, Bob and their children and a large number of family, friends, and fans. She loved them all and we all loved her. Her musician friends sent her out with beautiful renditions of the music that was her passion. The family requests memorial contributions may be made in Yolanda's name to the Women's Guild of San Antonito Mission Church, c/o Holy Child Parish, P.O. Box 130, Tijeras, NM 87059 to thereby continue the Guild's good works. Her cremated remains will be place at San Antonito Mission Church where she will always be surrounded by love. Memorial Mass was held Friday, June 18, 1999, 11:00 a.m., at San Antonito Catholic Mission, with Fr. John Carney, Celebrant. Arrangements by French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
