Obituary for Cox

Mary S. Cox, 101, a resident of Fort Collins, CO formerly of Bosque Farms from 1943-1951, and Albuquerque from 1951-1975, died Wednesday, June 16, 1999. She is survived by a daughter, Betty Ruth Moseley, and husband, William W. of Fort Collins, CO; son, James L. Cox and wife, Nell of Bosque Farms; daughter, Linnie Belle Hyde and husband, Walter of Cedar Crest; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by her husband, Newt H. Cox; and grandson, Burl H. Cox. She taught school for 21 years at Isleta Pueblo and the Albuquerque Indian School. Mrs. Cox was a former member of Heights Baptist Church in Albuquerque. Services will be held Monday, 10:30 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Rev. Carmen Conner officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Rick Cox, Jim Cox, Bob Hyde, Bill Moseley, Tom Myers and Leon Beard.
