Obituary for Plummer

Michael Warren Plummer, 56, a resident of Gallup, died on Sunday, May 2, 1999. He is survived by his daughter, Marachel Plummer of Mexico, MO; sons, Joseph Plummer of Lubbock, TX, and Matson Plummer of Dallas, TX; friend, Gladys McDonald of the home in Gallup; mother, Dorothy Plummer of Topeka, KS; sisters, Mary Patricia Forsberg and husband, Roger of Clinton, IL, Katherine Ann Lewis and husband, Larry Cooper of Liberty, MO, Barbara Reed and husband, Ralph of Ft. Scott, KS; brother, Dennis C. Plummer and wife, Jana of Amarillo, TX; sisters, Jean Marie DeVader and husband, Steve of St. Mary, KS, Dorothy May Berg and husband, Charles of Westmoreland, KS, Conradina Louise Plummer of Aurora, CO, and Virginia Denise Quigley and husband, Joe of Blaine, KS; and numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, and uncles. Michael proudly served his country in the US. Navy during the Vietnam Era. He was employed in the food service industry. He had been retired for four years. He was a member of the Lions Club, as well as other fraternal organizations. Michael volunteered his time at the Gallup Veterans Clinic, and the Albuquerque Regional Medical Center in Albuquerque. He will be deeply missed by his family, as well as his friends. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Saturday, May 8, 1999, 10:00 a.m., at R.J. Evans Mortuary, 612 E. Hwy. 24, Wamego, Kansas. Interment of cremains will take place at Wamego City Cemetery, Wamego, Kansas. French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
