Obituary for Cordova

Mrs. Jennie S. Cordova, 69, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away on May 2, 1999. Mrs. Cordova was the beloved wife of 51 years to Mr. Solomon Cordova. Mrs. Cordova is also survived by her loving children, Elsie Chavez and husband, Seferino, Rick Cordova, Andrew Cordova and wife, Annie, Ross Cordova and wife, Anna, and Paul Cordova; grandchildren, Yvette Chavez and husband, Mark, Yvonne Coriz and husband, Henry, Martin Chavez, Marc Cordova, Erika Cordova, Lupe and Matthew Cordova, Aaron Cordova and Evan Cordova, Nichole Cordova, Christopher, Joshua, and Angelo Cordova; great-grandchildren, Brittany Chavez, Lauren Chavez, Jordon and Molly Coriz; three sisters, Emma Sangre, Connie Gomez, Antonia Pena; four brothers, Ramon, Joe, Puseno and Alejandro Saavedra. Mrs. Cordova was a member of the Catholic Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Called"Mom" by all who loved her, she was the cornerstone of her family. She will be greatly missed by all whose life's she touched. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday evening, 7:00 p.m., at the Church of the Ascension, 2150 Raymac SW, with visitation after 6:30 p.m. The Legion of Mary, reciting. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning, 9:00 a.m., at the Church of the Ascension with final visitation after 8:30 a.m. Father Anthony Bolman, Celebrant. Interment will follow at the San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rick Cordova, Andrew Cordova, Ross Cordova, Paul Cordova, Martin Chavez and Marc Cordova.
