John M. Werner, 78, a resident of Albuquerque since 1986, died Friday, April 30, 1999. He is survived by his beloved wife, Glorya, of 56 years; son, John N. of Rio Rancho; daughters, Carole Jones of Orlando, FL., and Laurel Bateman of Lakewood, WA; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Mr. Werner served his country honorably during WWII with the U.S. Army. He is a former resident of West Orange, NJ, and retired from Singer Sewing Machine Company. There will be a memorial service Tuesday, May 4, 1999 at 1:00 p.m. at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Academy at Moon. He was greatly loved and will be missed by all.
