Obituary for Alden

Floyd G. Alden, age 79, a resident of Albuquerque for 35 years, passed away January 10, 1999. He is survived by his wife, Ruby Hagler Alden of Albuquerque; daughter, Martha"Dolly" Alden of El Paso, TX; two step-daughters, Sherry Taylor of Albuquerque, Pamela Hagler of Albuquerque; son, Raymond J. Alden and wife, Patricia of El Paso, TX; step-son, James R. Hagler and wife, Debbie of Chandler, AZ; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He retired from the Federal Aviation Administration in 1974. He was a member of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 13, 1999, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE. Funeral service will be Thursday, January 14, 1999 at 10:00 a.m. at Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, with Rev. Dr. Frank Yates officiating. Jeff Alden, Forrest Taylor, Jessica Taylor, Sherry Taylor, Pam Hagler and Stephanie Kelly will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Andrew Memorial, 5301 Ponderosa NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE, in charge of arrangements.
