Mary M. Torres, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, February 4, 1999. She is survived by her husband, Eddie C. Torres; daughters, Yvette Moya and husband, Steve, Eileen Torres and Kimberly Torres; grandsons, Albert Saavedra, Eddie Moya and Fabian Oppenheim; parents, Herman and Margaret Chavez; brother, Benny Chavez; and sisters, Sally Gutierrez and husband, Joe, Roberta Rubio and Elaine Pacheco, all of Albuquerque. Mrs. Torres was preceded in death by her son, Dino Torres. She married her husband, Eddie in 1962. Rosary will be recited Sunday, 7:30 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Father Paul Baca reciting. Mass will be celebrated Monday, 1:30 p.m., at Mt. Calvary Chapel, 1900 Edith Blvd. NE, with Father Paul Baca, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steve Moya, Dominic Fritsch, Travais Oppenheim, Albert Saavedra, Benny Chavez and Jesse Allen. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Sunday, 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
