Obituary for Miller

Bessie A. Miller, 101, a resident of Albuquerque since 1991, died Tuesday, February 2, 1999. She is survived by her son, Frederick J. Miller of Ontario, NY and William D. Miller of Albuquerque; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick J. Miller; and daughters-in-law, Bernadine Miller and Rose Anna Miller. Mrs. Miller retired from Rochester Telephone Co. in Rochester, NY with 40 years of service. After she retired from Rochester Telephone Co. she worked for an additional ten years as a switchboard operator at Rochester General Hospital. After she moved to Albuquerque, she enjoyed playing bingo at Palo Verde and Bear Canyon Senior Centers. She had been a resident of Sandia Manor Care Nursing Center since 1994. Her cheerful, outgoing nature will be missed by the many people who knew her. Mass will be celebrated Thursday, 9:00 a.m., at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School NE, with Father Florian Renaud, Celebrant. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulcre Cemetery in Rochester, NY. French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
