Beryl Cook, 92, born on June 9, 1906, passed away on Friday, May 28, 1999 in Albuquerque, NM. Beryl is survived by two sons, Lee and wife, Dee; two stepchildren, Greg and Doug of Sioux Falls, SD, David and wife, Maureen; three grandchildren, Mike and wife, Julie, Steven, Theresa Chamas and husband, Gus; five great-grandchildren, Ryan, Ian, Dylan Cook, Christine and Kyle Chamas all of Albuquerque; and many nieces and nephews. Beryl was preceded in death by her first husband, Ivan in 1961. She married Arthur Wilkins in 1988, he also preceded her in death in 1989. She is survived by two stepchildren from that marriage, Lee Reider of Long Beach, CA and Artie Wilkins of Las Vegas, NV. Beryl was fondly known by her many friends in Albuquerque as"Granny Goose". She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A Memorial service will be Thursday, June 3, 1999 at 3:00 p.m. at Grace Church, 6901 San Antonio NE with Pastor Edwin Shepperson officiating. The family will have a second Memorial service, at a later date, in Wallingford, Iowa.
