Armando James Romero, 34, passed away Saturday, May 29, 1999 in Sierra Co., NM. He was born July 15, 1964 to Louis and Lucy Esquibel Romero in Las Vegas, NM. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mary E. Esquibel. He is survived by his wife, Teresa M. (Gutierrez) Romero of their home in Lemitar, NM; daughters, Kasey J. Romero and Monique A. Romero, both of Lemitar, NM and Felisha Romer of Montrose, CO; brothers, Roy and wife, Linda, Rocky and wife, Wilma and Ray and wife, Renee, all of Albuquerque, NM; sisters, Yolanda Najeral and husband, Orlando of Rio Rancho, NM, Carol Romero of Albuquerque and Geraldine Carlile and husband, Geno of Edgewood, NM; brother-in-law, Frank Gutierrez; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Rosary was recited Tuesday, June 1, at 7:30 p.m. at the Lemitar Catholic Church in Lemitar, NM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, June 2, at 2:00 p.m. at the San Miguel Catholic Church in Socorro with Father Bill Sanchez as Celebrant. Interment is in the Lemitar Cemetery. Pallbearers are, Horacio Perez, David Garcia, Darrell Cases, Chris Romero, Abran Pino and Rick Lopez. Honorary Pallbearers are, Gabe Ortiz, Robert Romero, Jeremiah Romero, Fernando Esquibel, Leroy Ulibarri and Christian Gutierrez. Arrangements by Steadman-Hall Funeral Home, Socorro, New Mexico.
