Obituary for Ryan

Candis S. Ryan, 16, a resident of Albuquerque, died Monday, January 18, 1999. She is survived by her (Daddy) and (Mom), Michael and Linda Ryan of the family home; grandparents, Barbara (Granny) Ryan, Jean (Nanny) and Ben (Gramps) Perea, and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Ryan; two great-grandmothers, Martha Ryan and Florence Martin; 12 uncles; 11 aunts; 32 cousins; as well as numerous great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins, who all loved her dearly. Candis attended West Mesa High School where she was a member of the Swim Team and the Thespian Club. She also worked as a lifeguard at the West Mesa Aquatic Center. Candis touched the lives of everyone she met. From teachers, friends, and her students in swim classes, to strangers on the street, she had a smile for each and everyone. Her absence will leave a void in each one of our lives. Scripture services will be held Friday, 3:30 p.m., at Santuario De San Martin, 8321 Camino San Martin SW, with Father Daniel Farris officiating. Pallbearers will be members of the West Mesa Aquatic Center: Nathan Geving, Claudine Garcia, Lisa Lopez, Alicia Sanchez, Michael LeMoine, and Zach Nichols. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Swim Team and Drama Department from West Mesa High School. Cremation will take place following the services.
