Obituary for Mohler

Fern S. Mohler, a resident of Albuquerque for 60 years, passed away on Monday, July 26, 1999. She was a member of the Latter Day Saints of Jesus Christ for over 60 years. She is survived by her three sons, Charles Dale Mohler and wife, Edwina of Grantsville, UT, Larry D. Mohler of Las Vegas, NV, Jerry D. Mohler and wife, Vivian of Albuquerque; three sisters, May Oatez of Arizona, Velva Lapin of Arizona, Beulah Brady of Arizona; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Fern was a devoted, wonderful, loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She loved her church, many friends and family, and was an active member of her church. She had been a Primary Counselor, teacher, relief society, work counselor, work director, quilt director, as well as head of many other positions. Mark King will officiate at her services. Pallbearers will be Terry Mohler, Charlie Mohler, Duane Walker, Ricky Block, Tom DuBeau, David Steffenson and John Skousen. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 1999, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE, Albuquerque 87106. Services will be held on Thursday, July 29, 1999 at 1:00 p.m. in the Palm Chapel, 1100 Coal Ave. SE. Interment will be in Fairview Memorial Park. Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE, in charge of arrangements.
