Obituary for Klein

Joseph Klein, 84, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past 20 years, passed away on Sunday, July 25, 1999. Joseph was born February 18, 1915, the son of Louis and Minnie Sunnenshein Klein in New York City, New York. Joe had been a conductor, motorman, motorman instructor, and a safety administration officer with the New York City Transit Authority. Joe was the founder and President of the Meadowlark Senior Center Fishing Club, a member of the Sandoval County Commission of Senior Affairs, the Mayors Advisory Board of Rio Rancho, and the Community Service Ecology of Bettering the fishing in the lakes of New Mexico. Joe is survived by his wife, Mollie of Rio Rancho; three children, Dennis Klein of New York, Alan Klein of Dallas, TX, and Dale Klein of Corrales; grandchildren, Amy, Joshua, Laurel, Ethan, Olibia, Hayley and Wolfgang. The service for Joseph will be Wednesday, July 28, 1999 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd., at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho. Interment will follow in the Rio Rancho Jewish section in Vista Verde Memorial Park. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary.
