Piedad Compos Tafoya, born April 5th, 1905, passed away in her sleep, July 22, 1999. A lifetime resident of New Mexico, she has left a legacy of 8 children: Louise Gonzales, Tony Tafoya, Don Tafoya, Ema Armijo, MaryAna Fernandez, Alfonso Tafoya, Larry Tafoya and Raymond Tafoya. With those 8 children she left 56 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and 26 great-great grandchildren. She will be loved and missed very deeply. May God keep her always. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday, July 25, 1999, at 7:00 p.m. at Palm Chapel, 1100 Coal Ave, SE. Albuquerque, New Mexico. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 25, 1999 at Palm Chapel from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Services will be held at San Clemente Church in Los Lunas at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 26, 1999. Interment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave, SE, in charge of arrangements. .DMP
