Josephine Hamilton, 74, a resident of Albuquerque since 1949, died Thursday, July 22, 1999. She is survived by her daughter, Carla Michelle Hamilton of Albuquerque; son, William Anthony Hamilton of Los Angeles, CA; and great-aunt, Maggie Brooks of Meridian, MS. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Hamilton. Mrs. Hamilton was a longtime member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. She worked for the telephone company for ten years as an operator. Services will be held Saturday, 11:00 a.m., at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 2401 University Blvd. SE, with Rev. Dr. L.W. George officiating. Interment will take place at Fairview Memorial Park. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Friday, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
