Obituary for Danella

Ralph A. Danella, 75, a resident of Albuquerque since 1980, passed away on Monday, May 24, 1999. Ralph was born August 26, 1923, the son of Donato and Theresa Lucadamo Danella in Brooklyn, New York. He had been a garment cutter for many years and then a security guard for First Security before retiring. Ralph had been a past member of the Board of Directors of the Italian American Association of Rio Rancho and an active member of the Rio Rancho Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his wife. Ralph is survived by three daughters, Dana Vero and husband, Vic of Scottsdale, AZ, Joann Danella and Peter Alden of Rio Rancho, and Julieanne Welch of Estancia, NM; two sisters, Dolly Dragotta of Henderson, NV and RoseMary Stefan of Las Vegas, NV; four grandchildren, Christina Hobson and husband, Seth of Oceanside, CA, Amy Lynn Vero of Tucson, AZ, Michael Anthony Vero of Tucson, AZ, and Anthony Scott Alden of Rio Rancho; great-niece and nephew, Justin Welch-Danella and Lashley Welch of Estancia, NM; and devoted companion, Marjorie DeCandia of Albuquerque. A memorial service will be held tomorrow, Thursday, May 27, 1999, 10:00 a.m., at the Rio Rancho Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Peter Denlea officiating.
