Vestal V. Redmond, 85, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, December 30, 1998, of a long illness. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Freerksen of California; sisters, Fawnie Blancett of Albuquerque and Rema Bates of Moriarty, NM; brother, Illiff Irvin of Moriarty; nephew, Cecil Blancett, Jr. of Albuquerque; and grandsons, Bryan Freerksen, David Harper and Mitchell Harper of California. Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
