Obituary for Meyer

Marie Meyer, 74, a resident of Albuquerque since 1979, died Sunday, March 21, 1999. She is survived by her son, Hal Meyer and wife, Linda of Albuquerque; daughter, Janet Mimiaga and husband, Ed of Colorado Springs, CO; three grandchildren, Eric Meyer, Jason Mimiaga and Brandon Mimiaga; brothers, Clifton Kesterson, Harry Kesterson, George Kesterson, Roger Kesterson, and Donald Kesterson; and sisters, Pauline Kesterson, Helen Long and Louise Durnin. Mrs. Meyer was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; daughter, Barbara; brothers, Russell and Harvey Kesterson; and sisters, Pearl Jones and Dorothy Foster. She was a volunteer, and was later employed by Adelante Development Center for several years. Services will be held Thursday, 10:30 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be Hal Meyer, Eric Meyer, Clifton Kesterson and Richard Long. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Wednesday, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the University of New Mexico Cancer Center Program Development, 900 Camino de Salud NE, 87131.
