Hugh Elliott Jr., 73, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Thursday, March 18, 1999. He is survived by his wife, Mary; ten children, Veronica Carrillo and husband, Filo, Arlene Pedroncelli, Marvin Elliott and wife, Mary, Marylyn Aragon and husband, Arthur, Lester Elliott and wife, Cynthia, Reggie Elliott, Monica Pacheco and husband, Gilbert, Pat Elliott and wife, Rosie, Theresa Elliott and husband, Beto, and Jean Elliott; two brothers, Pat Elliott of California, Merle Elliott of Albuquerque; three sisters, Opal Smith and Lola Murphy of Albuquerque, and Edith Harrison of California; 24 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces. Visitation will be Monday, March 22, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Strong-Thorne Mortuary. Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 23 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
