Marcial Gurule, 79, beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother, was called home to be with the Lord, Friday, March 12, 1999. Mr. Gurule was a resident of Carnuel, NM. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Rosalia Garcia and Catalina Barreras. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Vivianita Gurule of the family home; five daughters, Della Gurule, Liz Zamora, Martha Gurule, Diane Garcia and Selina Pizarro and husband, Romulo; 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; two brothers, Joe Gurule and wife, Phyllis, Albert Gurule and wife, Juanita; three sisters, Julia Chavez, Sinfa Gonzales and Patsy Adams; and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his loving family. Final viewing will be in the chapel of Garcia Mortuary, on the corner of 8th and Stover, this morning, from 9:00 a.m. till the time of the funeral service which will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. Casket bearers will be Randy Sanchez, Calvin J. Jackson III, Arthur Garcia, Richard Saavedra, Romulo Pizarro, Michael Garcia and Lorenzo Zamora Jr. Honorary bearers will be Randy Gutierrez Jr. and Bobby Gurule. Funeral services are under the direction of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave. SW, 243-5222.
