Obituary for Luna

Frank B. Luna (March 17, 1923 - March 13, 1999), formerly of El Paso, TX, and resident of Albuquerque for over 35 years, died Saturday after a short illness. He is survived by his sister, Ruth L. Miramon of the family home; daughter, Yolanda Oulette of El Paso, TX; son, David Luna; and daughter, Darlene Hayes and husband, David of Martinez, CA. Mr. Luna was preceded in death by son, Frank Luna, Jr. He is also survived by niece, Esther Martinez and husband, Joseph F.; grandnephews, Marcel and Marcos Martinez; and grandniece, Leticia Martinez; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Mr. Luna was born in Miami, Arizona and was a retired painter. He was a member of Annunciation Parish and the Peoples' Eucharistic League. Mr. Luna was deeply devoted to St. Jude and was a supporter of St. Jude Hospital, the Sacred Heart League, and St. Anthony's Guild. Rosary will be recited Monday, 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary - Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd, NE. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 8:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Annunciation Church, 2532 Vermont, NE with Father Mark Granito, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joseph F. Martinez, Marcel Martinez, Marcos Martinez, Charles Casaus. Robert O. Mendoza, and Leon Holecheck. Friends may visit Monday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd, NE.
