Lois Alitis Littleton (nee Field) died February 25, 1999, in Albuquerque, NM. She was born January 11, 1904 in Chicago and was preceded in death by her first husband of 35 years, Gilbert Alitis and by her second husband of 20 years, Charles Littleton. She was the loving mother of Barbara Hecox and husband, George, Joanne Bahnsen and husband, Allan, all of Rio Rancho, NM and Nancy Whitehead of Colorado Springs, Co. She was the proud grandmother of nine, great-grandmother of thirteen and great-great grandmother of five. Lois graduated from Schurz High School and earned her teaching certificate from Chicago Normal College. Lois and Gilbert were members of Norwood Park Chapter of Order of Eastern Star, and Lois and Charles were members of The Grange near Redding, CA. She was a talented amateur artist and enjoyed writing, gardening and bridge. Lois was a former member of the Norwood Park Methodist Church where she was superintendent of Sunday School. She helped many people in her lifetime - family, friends and strangers. Funeral Services were held in Chicago on March 6, 1999 at the Acacia Cemetery Chapel. Local arrangements were by Sandia Funeral Care, 7601 Wyoming Blvd.
