Robert L. Ewing, 79, a resident of Albuquerque for 50 years, died Sunday, March 7, 1999. He is survived by his sons, Robert Ewing, Jr. and wife, Yolie of Superior, AZ, and Thomas Ewing and wife, Kathy, of Amarillo, TX; daughters, Flo Migliore and husband, Richie, of Albuquerque, and Joy Threlkeld and husband, Chuck, of Weatherford, TX; grandchildren, Danita and husband, David, Eleana, Michael and fiancee, Becky, Curtis and wife, Alisha, and Mario; and great-grandchildren, Erinn, Erik and Evynn. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen in 1987. Mr. Ewing was in the Merchant Marines during WWII and was a retired mechanic. Cremation has taken place and private memorial services will be held. French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
