Martha Gene (Davis) Doty, 85, a resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, June 13, 1999. She is survived by her daughters, Kay (Doty) Deshler and husband, Lawrence of Albuquerque and Ruth (Doty) Castagno and husband, Cesar of Orange Co., CA; five grandchildren, Jonathan and Brandon Deshler, J.D., Jeremy and Meghan Castagno; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Harold A. Doty. She was an osteopathic physician before she retired to become a devoted mother and grandmother. Mrs. Doty was very active for many years with Girl Scouts and in the mental health field. A private memorial and reception will be held at a later date. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
