Joyce Rosemary Compton, born in London, England, January 17, 1931, died June 10, 1999, after a long and valiant struggle with cancer. She leaves a husband of 45 years, James of Albuquerque; three daughters, Julia of Maputo, Mozambique, Jenny of Encinitas, CA, and Hilary of Albuquerque; three grandchildren, Susannah, Anastasia, and James; a sister, Audrey; a nephew, Miles; and a niece, Margaret of England. Thanks to all at Lovelace Medical Center, Albuquerque, where she had the best and kindest care imaginable through the whole course of her illness. Services will be held Wednesday, June 16, 1999 at 5:30 p.m. St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 1500 Chelwood Park Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM.
