Joyce Rosemary Compton, born in London, England, January 17, 1931, died June 10, 1999, after a long and valiant struggle with cancer. She leaves a husband of 45 years, James of Albuquerque; three daughters, Julia of Maputo, Mozambique, Jenny of Encinitas, CA, and Hilary of Albuquerque; three grandchildren, Susannah, Anastasia, and James; a sister, Audrey; a nephew, Miles; and a niece, Margaret of England. Thanks to all at Lovelace Medical Center, Albuquerque, where she had the best and kindest care imaginable through the whole course of her illness.
