JAMES COLBERT 1936-1999Mr. James Colbert, 62, and a resident of Meadow Lake, passed away Tuesday, January 26th. He was born in Anadarko, Oklahoma on February 17, 1936. Jim was a man of the world, having traveled all over this country as a truck driver. He served his country in the U S Army. Mr. Colbert was formerly married to Nancy Mitchell Colbert. James Colbert is survived by his daughters, Brenda Jolly and her husband, Robert of Kansas City, Lisa Martin and her husband, John of Japan; sons, Jerry James Gage Jr. and his wife, Debbie of Arlington, TX, Jeff T. Daily and his wife, Marlow of Albuquerque, Jerry Don Gage and his wife, Aileen of Bosque Farms, and James Patrick Gage and his wife, Peggy of Abilene, TX; sisters, Maggie McElroy, Frances Needham and Gwendolyn Eavans, all of Houston; and 11 grandchildren. At Jim's request, cremation has taken place and no service are planned. Arrangements by Riverside Funeral Care Center, 2211-D Main in Los Lunas, 865-1386.
